Eggs are high in nutrients, well saturated and do not contain too many calories. Therefore, it is often recommended that they be consumed in various diets. There are also egg diets. How can these be properly monitored?

Different egg diets

What do eggs contain? A useful product is rich in vitamins A, K, E, D, group B, calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, iodine, potassium, amino acids, useful proteins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, lecithin and other valuable substances.

Why are eggs good for weight loss? They contain minimal amounts of carbohydrates, relieve hunger, and fatty acids prevent the formation of fat reserves. In addition, the protein in the product helps maintain muscle mass.

All egg diets include the use of not only the main product but also other equally healthy foods. There are different options for feeding eggs, but the rules are common.

Here are some basic rules to help you get rid of excess pounds faster:

  • drink plenty of clean water. And coffee, tea (without sugar), dried fruit compote are also allowed;
  • all fruits and dried fruits are allowed, except mangoes, bananas, dates, figs and grapes;
  • you can eat any vegetable except potatoes;
  • if you have a strong feeling of hunger, you can eat cucumbers or carrots;
  • you cannot change food;
  • if the product is allowed to be consumed in a certain form, it cannot be prepared in any other way. For example, if cooked chicken can be consumed, it cannot be steamed or fried;
  • there should be a lot of citrus in the diet as they stimulate fat burning processes;
  • you must not use salt during cooking;
  • doses should be small.

The egg diet is not suitable for severe kidney and liver problems. The diet is not recommended for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and allergies to the main product.

Detailed diet menu: many options

The simplest diet lasts for three days. You can only eat eggs, vegetables and grapefruits. You can only eat one type of vegetable at a time. It is allowed to drink green and black tea and water.

The diet menu will be as follows:

  • in the morning: half a grapefruit and an egg;
  • snack: salad;
  • lunch: steamed vegetables and eggs, green tea;
  • afternoon snack: half grapefruit;
  • dinner: salad and eggs.

The diet is quite hungry. That's why it's hard to resist. If you feel hungry, it is better to try another diet.

A five-day diet is more satisfying. You can eat chicken, vegetables, apples, citrus fruits, turkey, fish, seafood, cottage cheese. You can only eat fruit.

Here is the diet menu:

  • breakfast: a couple of eggs, grapefruit and tea;
  • lunch: chicken (fish), eggs, salad and oranges;
  • dinner: two boiled eggs, cottage cheese.

You can drink kefir before going to bed. Vegetables can be used to make salads, soups and stews.

There are many variations in the two-week diet. The point is that breakfast consists of eggs, citrus fruits and green tea. And for the rest of the time, you can cook any healthy food.

You can create such a diet menu:

  • in the morning: two eggs, citrus fruits and a cup of sugar-free green tea;
  • snack: fruit smoothie;
  • lunch: vegetable soup, fish, salad, compote; or ears, boiled chicken breast, fried vegetables, fruit drink;
  • afternoon snack: cocktail of yogurt and berries;
  • evening: buckwheat, lettuce, kefir, bread or roasted vegetables and seafood, tea with honey.

There is another interesting option. The menu should include not only eggs but also cottage cheese. These are two main products. In addition, you can eat fish, fruits, vegetables, lean meat. Kefir, juice and herbal tea are allowed.

The menu will be as follows:

  • breakfast: kefir, citrus fruits and two boiled eggs (just like that);
  • lunch: beef with vegetables and tea; or steamed chicken fillet and salad; or cottage cheese, fruit salad, toast;
  • dinner: steamed fish with vegetables and kefir; or cottage cheese and a slice of cooked meat, salad; or vegetable salad with cottage cheese and kefir.

The point is to eat a few eggs and 200 g of cottage cheese every day. The rest of the menu can be varied.

Healthy egg recipes

Boiled eggs are usually consumed during the diet. But if you want to make the menu more varied, you can try other egg dishes as well. True, the weight loss process will slow down, but it will be easier to lose weight. Recipes should be low in calories.

Omelette with vegetables

Simple and healthy recipe. You need to chop a tomato, half a bell pepper and half a small onion. Simmer the vegetables for five minutes, cover with beaten eggs and milk, then cook over low heat.

Omelette with mushrooms

Cut some mushrooms and simmer. Beat two eggs with milk, salt and pepper, pour into a pan. When the omelette is caught, place the mushrooms, cover with one half of the omelette and cook under the lid for another five minutes.

Coil

Make an egg pancake. To do this, beat an egg with milk, salt, chopped herbs, add a little flour. Chef covered. Remove from pan and cool slightly. Gently chop sweet-colored peppers, red onions, parsley. You can add cottage cheese or melted cheese. Place the minced meat on an egg pancake and roll into a roll.

Beat two eggs, a few tablespoons of milk, salt, flour and pepper. Pour into a pan. After a few minutes, add chopped peppers, tomatoes, olives and herbs. Cook covered for about 10-15 minutes. The recipe is healthy, yet the food is delicious.

Stuffed eggs

To make the food nutritious, avoid mayonnaise, fatty meats, fish. It is better to use vegetables, herbs, seafood. And fill the stuffing with yogurt, low-fat sour cream. For example, cheese, boiled shrimp, fresh cucumber, egg yolk and a small amount of natural yogurt provide an excellent filling. We can decorate with herbs or whole shrimp.

All recipes are low in calories, so they are suitable for proper nutrition and diet. Of course, such foods should be consumed in moderation.
